It is not affiliated with the U.S. Census Bureau or the U.S. Postal Service, and nothing on this site is an official government communication.
Use of the Content
The underlying Census data is a work of the U.S. federal government and is in the public domain; you may reuse the figures with attribution to the Census Bureau and the ACS vintage stated on the page. Our original text, page design and compilations are protected by copyright, and you may quote brief excerpts with a link back to the page quoted. Systematic scraping that republishes substantial portions of the site's original text, or that misrepresents our figures as official counts, is not permitted. Automated access must respect our robots file and must not degrade the site's availability for readers.
Accuracy and Reliance
We work to reproduce the Bureau's published figures exactly and document our method on the methodology page, but we do not warrant that any page is free of error. All figures are survey estimates subject to margins of error and revision between releases. Do not rely on this site as the sole source for a legal, lending, regulatory, grant or investment decision; verify decision-critical figures in the Census Bureau's own published tables. ZIP Code Tabulation Areas approximate ZIP Codes and must not be used as postal, legal or emergency-service boundaries.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the contact form (including submitting spam, malware, unlawful content or another person's personal information), not to attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site or its server, and not to use the site in violation of applicable law. We may remove or block submissions and access that violate these terms.
